Lisa Crane is a mother to two kids, an Occupational Therapist and a seeker of balance in life! She quit her corporate career in March of 2017 to spend more time with her children and to find some harmony in life. She was completely overwhelmed with the responsibilities of full time work and home and wants to help other families feel more balanced in their life. Her passion is to develop resources for families to help them find a little more peace in their lives as well as help children grow into independent beings.
Alan has spent the majority of his life in the classroom, and for some reason can’t seem to ask a question without putting his hand up. He has found that blending a teaching career with parenthood to be quite different than he imagined due to the fact that teaching other people’s kids is a lot easier than teaching your own. His passion in the areas of literacy, music, communication, and student leadership have helped him to
survive enjoy 15 years of teaching at the high school level.
Michael Page studied electrical engineering and is currently a project manager for a major utility. He is responsible for the planning, execution and successful completion of various large scale projects. These skills also help him manage his family life and keep his wife and two kids on track. He is a master at planning everything such as vacations, budgets, schedules, menus and home projects. To maintain his work-family balance, he coaches his two children in sports ranging from baseball, soccer and hockey.
Jen Shapka has been a lot of things over the years, and draws on her experiences working with kids and families in a wide variety of hands-on situations for her work with Fambalee. A mom of two, military spouse, domestic engineer, and former teacher (B.Sc., B.Ed.), she has always found herself in the education field but rarely in the classroom. Experiential learning is her focus, empowering families while teaching cooking, sewing, science, outdoor education, life skills, and child passenger safety.
